Sheppard Air Force Base is gearing up for the Fourth of July with this year's Freedom Fest. 

Freedom Fest  is an opportunity for the local community and base family and friends to come out to Sheppard. 

It's happening Friday, July 4th. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and the event runs until 10:30 p.m. Fireworks take place at 10:00 p.m.

It is free. Enjoy live music, entertainment, food and more. 

Access will be through the Missile Road gate with the event and parking at the Hospital Pavilion.  

Please do not bring any large coolers, backpacks or anything that could be used as a weapon.
