Wichita Falls City Council is looking for answers to address the rapidly depleting lake levels.
City Council was set to purchase “Water Saver,” an evaporation suppressant. It had the potential to reduce lake level evaporation by as much as 30-percent. However, Wichita Falls Mayor Glenn Barham made it clear there would be no discussion about it at Tuesdays meeting.
He said there would be more testing done with the product, but that would have to depend on the talks they have with the manufacturer.
