More Money For WFISD Employees?

Wichita Falls Independent School District employees might see more money in their paycheck next school year.

The school board met for a special session on Thursday and a three-percent raise across the board is being considered.  Board members will continue to discuss the budget before they vote on a final decision.  Raises could still be taken out or lowered before it’s all said and done.

Board members did award a bid for two vertical platform lifts for Hirschi High School.

Newschannel 6 will let you know when they have made a decision on the raises.
