A Texoma Boy Gets Honored

A young Texoma boy received a special honor on Tuesday morning.

Corbin Cohn was born with half a heart.  The 3-year-old loves sirens, police cars, and everything police related.  So the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office made him an honorary deputy.  The young boy got the award, a badge, and handcuffs.

His parents said he will probably end up being a police officer or a firefighter when he grows up.

“We’re honored that he’s now part of the sheriff department so it’s pretty neat he has his own badge and everything,” his parents said.

Corbin also got a special homecoming ceremony last week.
