Wichita Falls Fire Department Welcomes New Firefighters

The Wichita Falls Fire Department's held its 60th fire academy graduation on Friday.

The graduation was held at the Memorial Stadium. After the graduation there was a reception at the Elks Lodge.

This year there was a female cadet graduating, it will be the first time the W.F.F.D. has had a female since 2011.

Her name is Noelle Garcia and she encourages other women to join this field.
