Man Arrested In Connection To Stabbing In Wichita Falls

Wichita Falls police have arrested a man in connection to a stabbing that happened on Thursday night.

Jermaine Thompson is charged with Aggravated Assault.

Wichita Falls police said it happened around 10:00p.m. near Avenue I and Taylor St.  Police said the 41-year-old and another man were arguing on the front porch of a home.  Authorities said the men are neighbors.  As the victim was walking away, Thompson came behind him and stabbed him on the lower left side of his back.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Thompson was found with a pocket knife with fresh blood on it, connecting him to the stabbing.

His bond has been set at $75,000.
