New Body Armor Vests Approved

The Wichita County Sheriff's Office will be getting some new body armor vests.

County Commissioners met on Monday morning and approved funding for 14 blank body armor vests.  County Sheriff David Duke said the body armor is replaced about every five years.

County commissioners also approved the purchase of 15 new cargo caddy storage drawers for the new Tahoe's recently approved for the sheriff's department.
