Newschannel 6 Reads with Kids

Some Wichita Falls children were read to by some familiar faces Tuesday afternoon. Newschannel 6 anchor Ashley Fitzwater & Newschannel 6 reporter Brody Carter sat down with the little ones during story time at The Community Healthcare Center in Wichita Falls.

The afternoon was all about the kids, as the center marked Tuesday, Pediatric Day! It's all part of National Health Center Week, and today's focus was getting kids excited about picking up a book as they waited to see their doctor or nurse.

The week long campaign raises awareness about the need for a  healthier community.

Wednesday's event will be safety awareness.  And  on Thursday a free lunch provided while supplies last, along with tours. It's all taking place at The Community Healthcare Center on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Wichita Falls.
