Graham Ranked in AP Preseason Poll

The Texas Associated Press released its preseason high school football polls Wednesday. Just one Texoma team was ranked: the Graham Steers, who sit at #3 in the new Class 4A.

They're behind top-ranked Stephenville and #2 Navasota. All three of those teams, and #4 Carthage, are in Division I of the newly-split classification which, like classes 3A and 2A, is still considered one combined classification by the AP poll.

Graham, who reached the state semifinals each of the past two seasons, did receive one first-place vote.

The Steers are replacing several key skill position players, especially on offense, but did win the Texas 7-on-7 Division II State Championship last month in College Station.
