W.F. Nighthawks Back for Another Season

Wichita Falls, TX - The Wichita Falls Nighthawks announced exciting news for the team Thursday morning. 

The Nighthawks announced at a press conference that the team has a new owner. Drew Carnes bought the team. The previous owners, Jerry and Michelle Hughes, were offered a chance to be part of the new organization, but declined. 

Carnes wants to turn the Nighthawks into an arena football team. The Nighthawks have not committed to a particular indoor football league, yet. Newschannel 6 Sports Director Adam Ostrow said indoor league typically start their season in late February, shortly after the Super Bowl.
