United Way Book Drive

The North Texas Area United Way kicked off its city wide book drive on Monday, called A Book For Every Child.

The United Way is partnering with the Wichita Falls Public Library, Rotary Clubs and Friends of the Library to provide free books for daycare centers and children in the community ages five and under.

This is the third year for the Book Drive. In 2013, over 8,000 books were given away.

Businesses who wish to hold workplace book drives are asked to coordinate their individual drives to begin today and then end September 5



Books will be delivered on September 8


to the North Texas Area United Way for sorting and distribution.
