Man Arrested For Stealing Motorcycle

A man is behind bars Monday night after being caught with stolen motorcycle.

Wichita Falls Police officers were told to check on a suspicious person in the area of Barbados and Tobago just after 9:00a.m.  They said Juston Parker was going up to residents in the area and asking to use their phones so he could call someone to help him with his broken down motorcycle.  Residents in the area also called police about the motorcycle being in the alley.

When officers arrived, they saw the 30-year-old and the bike.  During the investigation officers discovered the motorcycle was stolen from an apartment complex in the 4700 block of Taft.  It was stolen early Monday morning and it hadn't been reported yet.

Officers said the owner of the motorcycle left in the morning before it was stolen.  The owner told officials he left it parked on the sidewalk in front of the apartment.

Parker is charged with Theft Over $1,500 and Under $20,000.  He is in the Wichita County Jail.

The motorcycle was impounded at the owner's request.
