City Councilors in Graham Talk About Upcoming Election

 Everything from taxes to alcohol was on the agenda in Graham on Thursday.

They met at the city council chambers at 9:30a.m.

Members discussed the upcoming November 4th election in Young County.  On the ballot is the approval of beer and wine in parts of the county.  However, city leaders said, even if it passes, the sale would not be allowed within Graham city limits.

Also up for discussion was a proposal to lower the tax rate.  However, the rates for trash pick up will go up.
