Four Retire At WFPD Ceremony

The Wichita Falls Police Department celebrated four members retiring.

On Thursday the department held a retirement and awards ceremony at the Public Safety Training Center.

Valerie "Penny" Rhodes served as a dispatcher for 25-years.  Officer Tony Fox, Officer David Hoard, and Officer Douglas Tidwell, all served for just over 25-year.

Also honored was Officer Logan Riley.  He performed CPR on a woman who was not breathing after she had gone into a diabetic coma.  Doctors said he saved her life.
