Calle Ocho 2014

Zavala of Wichita Falls will host the 2014 Calle Ocho Latin Festival at the downtown Farmers Market. The festival is at the corner of 8th and Ohio on October 4. 


The event will feature: Latin dishes, music, educational activities, dances, and a Salsa Dance Competition. You can also join in on the 2nd Annual Dia de los Muertos fun run. 


Proceeds of the event will help support education activities in the local Hispanic community including providing students with scholarships to attend college. Zavala Hispanic Cultural Initiative was established with a strong commitment to provide the Hispanic community an opportunity to actively participate in the evolution of a greater Wichita Falls.


Zavala has hosted a wide variety of cultural and educational activities including the Hispanic Leadership Banquet, Calle Ocho, and Las Posadas.
