Police Chase Leads to Arrest

 The Wichita County Sheriff's Department have charged a man in connection with a chase Sunday night.

Andy Fabian Rueda is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Evading Arrest.  Deputies tried to stop a car at the intersection of 6th Street and Travis.  However, Rueda took off.  Deputies used spike strips and were able to stop the vehicle on U.S. 287 after he lost control and ended up in a ditch.

Rueda is also charged with two outstanding warrants.  His bond is set at $50,000.
