Thousands of people across the country stood up to cancer Friday night.
These people are investing in the future of collaborative cancer research.
One in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their life times.
Friday night people came together to be apart of the movement.

"I would encourage anyone to contribute as best they can its important we want to be able to cure cancer cure it as soon as we can," Kent B. Ulrich, Site Research Leader at Texas Oncology said.
