Wanted Fugitive Behind Bars After Chase

    One man is behind bars after leading police on a high speed chase in Wichita Falls Monday afternoon. 

    An off duty officer spotted Cody Stage, who was wanted on three felony warrants at a pawn shop in the 3900 block of Jacksboro Hwy just after noon. 

    The off duty officer notified police about Stage.      

    As the 24-year-old was leaving the pawn shop officers confirmed the vehicle he was driving was stolen..

    When officer tried to pull him over Stage took off leading police on a short chase.

    Stage hit a parked vehicle in the 1200 block of 16th St. 

    Police then took Stage into custody.

    Stage is charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Evading Arrest in a Vehicle, Multiple Traffic Offenses and 3 Felony Warrants.
