Huge Drug Bust In Wichita Falls

A traffic stop led to a drug bust in Wichita Falls. The Wichita Falls Police Department said they attempted to pull a vehicle over for traffic violation in the 1000 block of Central Freeway.

The suspect, 34-year-old Jason Dunlap, pulled the vehicle over in the parking lot of Red Roof Inn. That's when police said the suspect fled on foot.

Officers caught Dunlap and discovered a bag containing 976 grams of Methamphetamine. He was also in possession of a second bag containing 24 additional grams of Meth and large amounts of cash, according to WFPD.

Dunlap has been transported to the Wichita County Jail. He is being charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 over 400 grams. He is also charged with evading arrest. His vehicle was impounded.
