One Arrested In Overnight Car Accident

A Thursday night car accident sent one man to jail on suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). Police arrested 33-year-old Ronald Stewart Ivey after his vehicle hit a tractor-trailer Thursday night, according to Wichita Falls Police. 


His vehicle was driving on westbound 287 traveling to 369 southbound. That's when Ivey's vehicle struck the tractor-trailer. 


There were no injuries in the accident, according to police. Ivey is charged with DWI and unlawful carrying of a handgun by a licensed holder.
