Traffic Stop Yields 1,000 Grams of Meth

    One man is behind bars after police find 1,000 grams of meth. 

    Wichita Falls Police say they attempted to pull a vehicle over in the 1000 block of Central Fwy for a traffic stop Thursday night. 

    Police say that's when Jason Dunlap stopped the vehicle at the Red Roof Inn and took off on foot. 

    After a short chase police found the 34-year-old with the drugs and $1,800 in cash.

    Dunlap has been charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest.
