Former Burkburnett resident Brad Dalke picked up another point for the USA Tuesday, helping his American team to a 16-8 rout of the European side at the Junior Ryder Cup in Scotland!
Dalke defeated Germany's Max Schmitt 2&1 in the final match of Tuesday's singles competition to seal the final margin, but the USA had already clinched victory on the back of California's Amy Lee, who routed German Alexandra Forsterling 6&5 for the decisive point.
Dalke earned a total of 2.5 of the USA's 16 points in the two-day event.
Both the American and European teams will participate in a "Friendship Match" Wednesday at Gleneagles, the host course of the 40th Ryder Cup later this week! The match will be a combined mixed four-ball format, with a boy and a girl from both Europe and the United States.
