Prepare for Caribfest 2014

Caribfest is back, bigger and better than before, at Midwestern State University on Friday, October 3rd.

Hosted annually  by the Caribbean Student Organization, this year the CSO is celebrating 20 years of existence.  For 20 years Caribfest  has been a part of MSU, providing volunteer services and charity work, as well as becoming infused as a part of the Wichita Falls community.

Tribute will be paid during this year's Caribfest with retiring MSU President Jesse Rogers in honor for all that he has done.

Other events leading up to Caribfest will include  parade band registration on September 25th, a music “soca” show on October 1st, and a pageant on October 2nd.

All funds raised at Caribfest go directly to charity. They are looking to provide three $500 scholarships to high schools and donate to the Arc of Wichita Falls.
