Deadly Accident Occurs on Missile Road

    Wichita Falls Police have identified the man who died after a car on pedestrian accident Friday evening. 

    

    The man has been identified at Gary Brazeal.  


    Police say the 52-year-old was on foot crossing the Exit Five ramp on Central Freeway when he was struck by a silver Mercury sedan that was going northbound on I-44. 

    The sedan was taking the exit toward Missile Road and tried to take evasive maneuvers to avoid the pedestrian, but was unable to do so.

    Brazeal was rushed to United Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:27 p.m.

    

    Police say the accident remains under investigation.
