Game of the Week, Week 6: WFHS/Rider

Our HomeZone Game of the Week for Week 6 would be the featured game in any week, but it's been moved way up in the season this year.

Wichita Falls High School and Rider will face off Friday night at Memorial Stadium in District 5-5A action!

The Raiders will officially be the home team for the second-straight year, occupying the press-box side of the field.

Rider has won four-straight meetings between the two teams, with WFHS's last win coming in 2009. Overall, Rider owns a 31-17 all-time lead, with three ties in the 51 head-to-head meetings.

We've been hearing from players and coaches on both sides of the game all week, leading up to full coverage of the Raiders and Coyotes from Memorial Stadium Friday night! Click through the Video Gallery to hear from both teams!

You can catch all of the highlights at 10:30 on the Friday Night High School Football Update!

Critics say the NFL's decision to force players to stand during the national anthem if on the field say the policy prioritizes the league's mainstream appeal over athletes.
