Cops and Robbers Running in the Falls

 Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers is excited to hold the 2nd Annual Cops & Robbers 5K Pursuit.

This fun-filled 5K chase will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 18th, and will be held in downtown Wichita Falls at the MPEC. Participants can also choose to participate in the one mile run/walk instead.

Participants can choose to be “Cops” or “Robbers” and the cost to participate for ages 13 and over is $30, $25 for  active military members, $20 for kids at the ages of 6 to 12, and kids under 6 are free.

    A popular Nocona restaurant is serving up food once again after shutting down from fire damage. Bear's Den Diner caught fire two months ago after a trailer only feet away caught fire and heavy winds spread it to the restaurant. Bear Weller, the owner, said the only reason his kitchen is open is that of his customers.
