Candle Light Prayer Vigil Held For Helicopter Crash Victims

Wichita Falls continues to mourn the loss of one and the injury of three that were involved in a helicopter crash Saturday.

At 8 p.m. Monday night Air Evac 34 based out of Wichita Falls held a candlelight prayer vigil to pay respects for the crew members, their families, and anyone else affected by the crash. The vigil was held at the landing pad just a block away from where the helicopter crashed.

It was a very emotional moment for those who attended. Many emergency response crews from across the Texoma region were present to speak at the vigil. Some of those who spoke were unable to hold back tears as they reflected on what many have called a "horrible tragedy."

Many gave gratitude for continued support for those who were impacted by the crash. There were pictures and giant cards people could sign to pay respects. The cause of the crash is still unknown at this time.
