Alexandra McClung

Alexandra McClung joined the Newschannel 6 news team as a reporter in September 2014.

She has been a part of the Newschannel 6 family since March 2013 as a producer and web director.  Those roles put Alexandra in the middle of breaking news and weather events as she constantly updated Newschannel6now.com and our social media pages. She will never forget the T-38 crash involving a Sheppard Air Force Base fighter jet in July 2013. Alexandra was responsible for making calls to get updates, and then putting out the information as soon as possible. Alexandra is ready to take everything she's learned behind the scenes to bring you the latest news.

Alexandra graduated from Midwestern State University in December 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication and a minor in Public Relations.   Alexandra was on the MSU Women's Tennis Team for four years competing as one of the top players.  She enjoyed competing and representing MSU as an athlete.  She played tennis since she was 3-years-old, but hung up the racquets after getting injured while at MSU.

Alexandra is a native of Canada, but loves to call Wichita Falls her home. She met her husband, a Texas native, while attending MSU and knew Texas was the place for her.

Alexandra loves being active. When she isn't reporting, she enjoys playing guitar, swimming, playing tennis, and hanging out with her family.  She also loves to play with her dog Hiro, who is a Shih-tzu!
