WFHS QB Butler Wins Player of the Week

Wichita Falls High School quarterback Eric Butler is the Texas Ford Player of the Week for Week 6 of the Texoma high school football season!

Butler completed 15 of 19 passes for 281 yards and four touchdowns in the Coyotes' wild, 50-36 victory over Rider on Friday night.

The 50 points is the most Old High (3-2, 1-1) has ever scored in their rivalry series with the Raiders.

This week, Butler and the Pack will host much-improved Azle (4-1, 1-1) at 7 p.m. Friday at Memorial Stadium. Last year, also at home, the Coyotes edged out the Hornets 19-14 but Azle has already surpassed last season's win total of three.
