WSC Celebrates 60th Anniversary

Work Services Corporation celebrated their 60th anniversary with an open house event.

The event was entirely employed-driven with employee-led tours. Employees will show a presentation on bullying, and present an employee-authored book. Work Services Corporation is also embarking on an effort to bring awareness of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, which is celebrated throughout the month of October.

Work Services Corporation is wanting the community to raise awareness in regards to employment opportunities for people with disabilities. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 17.6% of people with disabilities were employed in 2013, a drop from 2012.
