Wichita County Officers Search For Suspect Of High Speed Chase

Wichita County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a suspect involved in a high speed car chase. Officers attempted to pull over a white Corvette around 2 a.m. Sunday on Archer City Highway.

That's when the car led deputies on a chase that ended at a home on Fenoglio Avenue. The suspect driving crashed his vehicle into construction equipment behind the home, according to Wichita County Deputies.

The suspect fled inside the home, and when the suspect would not come out of the home for officers, smoke grenades and tear gas were released inside the home. However, deputies found the suspect had already fled the home.

Upon search, officers found a meth pipe in the vehicle along with other drug paraphernalia, according to Wichita County Deputies. They also found meth inside the home. Wichita County Sheriff's Deputies are still searching for the suspect.
