Vernon Police Search For Missing Man

Vernon Police are searching for Bacilio Zamaniego, 57, who's been missing since Friday. 

Police say he was last seen at a Vernon bus station where he was dropped off by family around 9 a.m. on Friday.

Officers say he was headed to Killeen, Texas so they have a wide area they are covering in the search. 

His family is also searching for him and have placed posters of him through out Texoma. 

If you know where he is or see him, you are asked to immediately call police.

    Texas Highway Patrol officers are prepared for a busy weekend. Last year there was over 1000 tickets given for seat belt violations and 400 DWI arrests. Sergeant Dan Buesing said more traffic is usually coupled with more accidents.
