Unanswered Questions In Holliday

Newschannel 6 is trying to learn more information about a former Holliday K-9 police officer.

Dwayne Jackson was the K-9 officer for the police department, but is no longer with the force.

Newschannel 6 wanted to know if Jackson was let go or if he resigned.

Our team tried to talk to Holliday city leaders about this matter at Monday's city council meeting, but were told no one would discuss it.

Jackson was awarded ownership of his canine partner at the very end of the meeting with no discussion. A simple vote was called for and members approved giving Jackson the dog.
