Two Vehicle Accident Lands Two Men in Hospital

Around 9:30 a.m. two vehicles, a  2003 Chevrolet pickup truck hauling a trailer with a small tractor and a 2004 Toyota van, were headed northbound on  Highway 287 when the pickup ran into the rear end of the van. The strike caused the van to run off into the right side on the highway into the bar ditch while the trailer disconnected from the pickup and caused the trailer and the truck to crash onto the left side of the highway.

The tractor ended up resting on the center line of the highway, causing a delay in traffic for around two hours.

Two males were transported by AMR to United Regional Hospital with unknown, but non-life threatening injuries. The accident occurred around  the Bell Road exit.

The accident is still under investigation.
