Traffic Stop Leads To An Arrest on the East Side of Wichita Falls

A traffic violation led to an arrest  in Wichita Falls, Saturday afternoon.

Around 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. a driver of a vehicle was pulled over for traffic violations by Wichita Falls police officers. The driver was pulled over, the passenger in the car immediately got out and started running.

W.F.P.D. officers searched the vehicle and did not find anything. However, officers did find bags of marijuana that were thrown out by the passenger.

The driver has been arrested for previous warrants and the car has been impounded.
