#GivingTuesday

Wichita Falls Habitat for Humanity is hoping to get local charities, businesses and the community involved in a nationwide day of giving. #GivingTuesday takes place December 2nd, right in the middle of the holiday season.

#GivingTuesday inspires people to take action to improve their local communities, and give back to charities and causes they support. By using the power of social media Habitat for Humanity is hoping Wichita Falls will adopt this day of giving, and create a movement.

Habitat for Humanity is partnering with #GivingTuesday in creating a day for volunteering and donations. Many non-profit organizations, like Habitat for Humanity, are completely dependent on volunteers and donations. This is an opportunity to encourage the community to get involved and give their time to help others in the community.

For more information you can head to Habitat for Humanity of Wichita Falls Facebook page, you can also donate to habitatwf.com.
