Store Robbed for the Third Time

The third robbery that has occurred at the 5th Street Discount convenience store this year happened around 10 a.m. Thursday morning.

The suspect is described as a six-foot tall black male around 190-200 lbs, and was last seen running toward Baylor Street. Police say he brandished a 12-inch knife at the clerk, before he made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The criminal that robbed the store the first two times was arrested earlier this year.
