Windthorst's King Wins Player of the Week

Quarterback Chandler King of the Windthorst Trojans is the Texas Ford Player of the Week for week nine of the high school football season!

King led the Trojans on a 26-point comeback on the road against Hawley, rallying them from 40-16 down in the third quarter for a 41-40 victory.

The senior finished 20/37 passing for 328 yards and three touchdowns passing, while rushing for two more scores. He also pitched in on defense, with eight tackles, and on special teams, punting three times for a 44-yard average.

Next up for the Trojans is a home game against Anson in which they can wrap up a playoff spot with a win. That would also put them in a position to play for a district championship the following week at Stamford.
