SWAT Strike in Wichita Falls Neighborhood

Two people were arrested Monday afternoon after the Wichita Falls SWAT team and the Organized Crime Unit served a high risk arrest warrant in the 1000 block of Wenonah.

Around 2:15 p.m., SWAT approached the home.  SWAT also used a “flash bang,” a non-lethal explosive device used to temporarily disorient the senses with the use of a blinding flash of light and extremely loud noise, which allowed the police a chance to get inside and capture the subjects.

A white male and a white female were arrested, and charged with possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.
