WFISD Discusses Water Delivery

The Wichita Falls Independent School District held a meeting  on Tuesday, November 11. Among the topics of discussion was the watering of the athletic fields.

In August, WFISD employed Green Touch Water Services for the delivery of non-potable water . Green Touch waters 31 tanks one to two times per week. WFISD is currently spending $77,000 for the service, though by next August they are projected to spend up to $100,000.

However, once spending reaches $100,000, WFISD has to bid out. Athletics is recommending awarding the new bid to Green Touch Water Services.
