Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On Tuesday, November 11th, Wichita Falls police officers conducted a traffic stop on a blue Dodge Pickup in the 2300 block of Speedway.

During a search of the vehicle, officers located 7.8 grams of methamphetamine, 3 Xanax pills and 1 Soma pill in 33-year-old Christina Lazo's possession. She was arrested and transported to jail. 

Lazo was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance/PG 1/Drug Free Zone, Possession of a Controlled Substance, PG 3/Drug Free Zone and Possession of a Miscellaneous Substance. 

Lazo also had 5 outstanding warrants for her arrest with bonds totaling $5,946. Lazo is currently still being held in the Wichita County Jail.
