Police Search for Missing Woman

A Silver Alert is in effect Thursday morning as local law enforcement searches for a missing Stephens County woman.

Authorities say 74-year-old Effie Sue Duke left Cox City Wednesday on her way home to Stephens County. However, her family says she never made it. The family states that they're worried because she's an insulin dependent diabetic with memory problems.

Duke was driving a white 2011 Honda Civic four-door with Oklahoma tag number 093-LTJ. The car was spotted in the Walters area just before midnight Wednesday.
