Thorny Bush Hinders Fleeing Suspect

On Wednesday morning, November 19th, WFPD Narcotics Officers attempted to stop 52-year-old John Drullinger in the area of 32nd and Holliday.

Drullinger, who was wanted on a parole violation, led officers on a short vehicle pursuit before he exited his truck in the 1400 block of 26th Street. Drullinger then ran on foot through a vacant lot, and was caught after he ran into a thorny bush.

Drullinger is in jail on charges of Evading Arrest. Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1, and a Parole Violation.
