Christmas at the Kemp

Saturday's weather did not stop people from enjoying Christmas at the Kemp at the Kemp Center for the Arts.

This was a free event where you could create art work, enjoy refreshments and even watch the movie, “Polar Express”.

“We had a better turn out than we could have hoped for and we are absolutely so grateful to everyone that came by today to support the Kemp,” said Rental Manager at the Kemp, Ashleigh Palmer.

“I think it's a great opportunity.  It's a great event that they put together for the community here in Wichita Falls and for all of the kids to come out and enjoy.  It was free, they had tons of crafts and it was just a great opportunity to get out and see what they have to offer,” said Texoman, Laura Gutierrez.

This was the first year for Christmas at the Kemp.

The turn out on Saturday was so good that organizers plan to make this a yearly event.
