Man Dies From His Injuries After Being Hit By a Vehicle on Sheppard Access Road

UPDATE: The man who died from his injuries Saturday night on Sheppard Access Road has been identified as Steven Paul Wright.


At 6:04 p.m. Saturday night, Wichita Falls Police Officers  responded to an injury accident on the 1900 block of Sheppard Access Road.

40-year-old Steven Paul Wright was pushing a shopping cart in the right hand lane of Sheppard Access Road when  a vehicle that was traveling southbound struck the pedestrian.

The vehicle is described as a 2009 Toyota Corolla.  No injuries have been reported from the driver of the vehicle. 

The name of the pedestrian is not being released at this time. 

W.F.P.D. Officers are still investigating this injury accident.
