A Man Is In Surgery After Nightclub Stabbing

A man is in surgery after a stabbing at a local nightclub.

It happened around 1am Thursday at Stage West on Southwest Parkway at Kemp.

Wichita Falls Police say a fight started inside the nightclub and the bouncers moved the crowd outside.

Officials tell us a man was stabbed multiple times and was taken to United Regional Health Care System.

Police have two people in custody that fled the scene. They were arrested at a house on Grant Street.

There's no word on the victim's condition at this time but we do know he was taken into surgery.

Police say they are not sure if this is a gang-related incident but they are continuing their investigation.
