Children Help Provide Toys For Other Children

On Tuesday, December 9, at 8:15 a.m. Wichita Christian School's students presented toys to the Wichita Falls Fire Department, and loaded  the truck with the toys purchased from the WCS fundraiser.

Wichita Christian School's (WCS) preschool and elementary students collected money for Operation Santa through the parent group, Parents' for Christian Education at WCS.  The money was collected one quarter at a time through student donations.  Students saved, did chores and raised money to purchase toys.  This annual event allows our students an opportunity to see how their small change can make a big difference in our community.

"Operation Santa is our community service project because it provides toys for children who otherwise would not receive any toys," said Samara Lane, PCE member.  PCE places this charity as a top priority each year.

Operation Santa is the Wichita Falls Fire Department's largest community fundraiser.
