LPD Make Arrest In Convenience Store Robbery

Lawton Police say they've caught the suspect in an early morning convenience store robbery in Lawton.

Police say someone held up the Stripes at Fort Sill and Rogers Lane.

Police got the call around 2:45 a.m. Thursday.

A clerk says the robber had a gun and was wearing a black hoodie with red and orange numbers and letters on it.

The suspect was black with a thin build and approximately 6'7".

He had a scar on the left side of his face and facial hair.

He reportedly left the store in a white Chrysler 300.

No word yet if this crime is connected to robberies earlier this week at another convenience store and a Family Dollar.

We'll continue to follow this developing story.
