Cash for Critters

The Humane Society of Wichita County volunteers took to the streets of Wichita Falls on Saturday for their Cash for Critters event.

Volunteers were on the corner of Midwestern Parkway and Kemp collecting spare change from residents for our furry friends this holiday season.

“We try to go to as many adoption events as we can out in the public.  We just want to let people know that we are here and that we are totally supported by donations by the public and that's how we survive,” said Director of the Wichita County Humane Society, Cheryl Miller.

100-percent of the money raised on Saturday will go towards the care and feeding of the animals in the Humane Society's care.
