Lawton Police Search for Scam Suspects

The Lawton Police Department needs the help of the citizens of Lawton in identifying the two individuals pictured below. They are both involved in a Scam/Robbery that occurred on December 15, 2014.

Suspect #1 (The man on the left side of the picture) approached an elderly gentleman while in Wal Mart on Sheridan Road and stated he was looking for a Walgreen's by a McDonald's. The victim advised where it was and offered to take him. Suspect #1 told the victim a story of an inheritance and stated he had a lot of money. Suspect #1 advised the victim to pull into Walgreen's parking lot at Sheridan and Ferris and to get the attention of a male leaving the store (Suspect #2).  Suspect #2 came over to the vehicle. Suspect #1 told the victim that he thought he was a nice man and would donate a specific amount to the victim's church and also to him.  However, the victim would need to show that he was sincere.

The victim drove to his bank, went inside and withdrew an amount of cash. Suspect #2 is seen inside the bank watching as the victim withdrew money and left the bank just prior to the victim. Once outside the victim was approached by Suspect #2 and was asked if he got the money. When the victim stated yes and showed the money, Suspect #2 grabbed the money and ran. Suspect #1 was not seen again.
